Hello my name is Gracie! I am one of Miss. A's second grade students and today is my turn to present my diorama to the class and write about it here.

When we were researching different animals in class, my favorite animal to read about were the Giraffe's. I love how huge their necks are, and that they are covered in spots. Something that I learned about Giraffes' environments, is that they must always stay near fresh water to drink, and trees to eat. The cool thing about the trees they eat, is that since their necks are so long they can reach some really tall trees and branches.

For my diorama I decided to do it on Giraffes in there environments with some animals that they are known to live near.

For the supplies my mom took me to Hobby Lobby to get some plastic animals, paint, and pretend grass. My favorite part was making the sparkly river!

Here is a video my dad took of my diorama, now you guys can get a better look at it!
